Nesting

I managed to capture a hint of a smile. Each day she smiles more often, which is lovely to wake up to.

The weathers so awful that we have to stay inside.. Usually this drives me crazy but it’s easier when she’s happily asleep.

One of the last times I can breastfeed her as my milk is starting to dry up.

Friends came around and got a taste of reality with any..here we tried a technique we saw online to stop a baby crying…it did work eventually

This is her sign for hunger…and this last week she has gone through a definite growth spurt.

Her first canvas…her handprint is abstract to say the least…she wouldn’t unscrunch her hand.

She’s a lot more alert and responsive now, her eyes can focus on you and  her facial expressions are more deliberate.

 

The weekends are made easier with my sister coming to help. That way I can still find time to cook. Belle had started whinging at the same time every night…I’ve ruled out every possible problem.

We are definitely less stressed on our own now. Combine feeding means I can actually enjoy feeding and spending time with her instead of worrying. She’s also a lot more contented with a full tummy.  4 weeks old today.
