Becy Farr is an award-winning portrait artist and writer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She is sole-owner and trader of Belle Art Photography, a fine art wedding photography company in the North East of England. Her artistic practice attempts to redefine social constructs of gender, the female body as an object and is currently more focused on communities of practice and understanding motherhood in relation to the artist. This blog creates a platform for reflective research and socially engaged practice with other mother-artists.
